Keep your Current Number

Experience the benefits of our Pay Monthly and Service Only platform, whilst keeping your current phone number(s). Our simple number porting procedure allows you to use your current number with any of our products. Transferring your number to our cloud service can also bring a whole host of benefits;

Move Office with Ease

Many businesses either don’t think about or realise the difficulties that can occur when moving office. For example, the property may need new telephone lines (A BT Standard Line currently costs £99 ex VAT), or there may be a delay in transferring the current line (currently 16 days with BT).

Retain your Area Code

Telecoms providers such as BT don't allow you to buy or keep an area code which is different to where the line is based. With Usomo, you can take your London 0208 number to your new offices in Edinburgh. All of the geographical numbers that we sell or are ported to us are geographically based, but independent of business location.

Full Ownership of your Number

By transferring your telephone number to the cloud, you can ensure that your number is truly yours, even if your circumstances change. If you choose to leave Usomo after your contract is complete, you can simply ask your new provider to port the number from us to them. We make no charge for this.

How do I transfer my Number?

Transferring your number(s) to Usomo is a simple process. In just a few steps, you can experience the various benefits of moving your number to the cloud.

  • Firstly, as you'd expect, we'll need to see some proof that you own the number you're porting to us. This is as simple as emailing us a copy of a bill showing the phone number and account number.
  • Secondly, you'll need to complete our Porting Requirements Form and the Letter of Authority. Both of these forms can be completed online using the link below.
  • Thirdly, you'll need to sign both forms and email a copy to support@usomo.co.uk Once we receive these, we'll make a request to port the number(s) to us. This process can take up to 2 weeks depending on the provider.

How much does it Cost?

Assuming that the numbers are on the same billing account, the cost is £15 per number, up to a maximum cost of £55. If the numbers are on different billing accounts, the charges will be separate, again up to a maximum of £55 per billing account.

For example, if you have 100 numbers on one billing account, and 1 number on a separate billing account, the port cost will be £70. (£55 for the 100 numbers and £15 for the single number)
